To those of you not in the know how yet of the Imibala Arts festival yet, lets catch you up.
The Imibala Arts Festival (Cross Colours/Cross Cultures) is a music and Arts initiative with the aim of youth development through the Arts and is proudly brought to you by PachamamaProject Productions. Our main objective is to develop emerging artists from previously disadvantaged areas by giving them the skills needed to further develop their craft through our creative workshops. Music and the Arts have the power to shape and have a positive social impact in our communities hence our mission to target the youths involved in the Arts from previously disadvantaged communities. It is more than a festival it is an Arts initiative with the aim of youth development and giving back to the community. It also gives a platform to the young emerging artists of Nelson Mandela Bay. The Imibala initiative was launched back in April 2017 by CEO and founder Tarynne Swarts (Pachamama) and has been running annually since then.
Who are we?
We are a non-profit organisation dependent solely on external stakeholders such as our sponsors who see value in what Imibala has to offer towards the arts and entertainment industry locally. Since the launch of the first Imibala Arts Festival back in 2017, we have sustained a successful delivery of the initiative, with an array of artists and supporters participatinglocally, provincially and nationally, and where the brand is also internationally recognised through Swarts’s influence in the music industry across borders. The Imibala brand has emerged and grown within a short space of time due to the support of our followers, coordinating team and sponsors.
Reaching the 1000 followers milestone!!!
Since it’s debut the Imibala Arts Festival has reached a milestone of 1000 followers on our social media platform, Facebook. Indicating that our supporters and fan base do play a crucial role in making the initiative successful. For that, the Imibala team would like to express their sincere gratitude to everybody who have supported the Imibala initiative since its inception and those who have recently formed part of being a driving force to support us.
